Erina Kriel
I grew up in an old Victorian house in Montagu. Having a small budget, Mom and Dad furnished it with pieces they bought at auction. Mom had great taste. During my teenage years, I had a holiday job in a gorgeous antique shop in Stanford. They played Cesaria Evora and also sold vanilla artisanal soaps. The sounds and scents, along with a love of antiques, decor and artisanal items have stayed with me for over 20 years.
Since then I have studied Law and qualified as an interior decorator and florist. I had always hoped that my career will gravitate towards a blend of my true passions. In 2021 I left the corporate world as a labour law consultant to focus on what brings me joy – and this is it.

My best-kept vintage shop secret has gone official! From my very first purchase, a beautiful semi-circle pine reading chair to my most recent Christmas shopping items, Erina has the best quality items in great working condition at just the right price point! I love this shop and I’m not at all surprised that it’s growing from strength to strength! Looking forward to picking up more stunning vintage pieces.
